About Us
The Glutathione is an independent guide to glutathione for skin and health. We write it in plain, simple language, for readers in India.
Why we started this site
Glutathione is everywhere now, from creams and soaps to tablets and clinic treatments. Yet a lot of what you read about it online is confusing or exaggerated, and plenty of it is just trying to sell you something with “overnight” promises.
We wanted one place where you could get honest answers based on research, to the questions people actually ask:
- What is glutathione, and how does it work?
- What does the science say, and what doesn’t it say?
- How do you use it safely?
- Which products and routines make sense?
How we approach it
- Straight talk: we tell you what’s proven, what’s promising and what’s just hype.
- Based on research: our articles are built on published studies and trusted health sources.
- Safety first: we spell out the side effects, and we say who should avoid certain products.
- Realistic: healthy, glowing skin comes from steady care over weeks. It doesn’t happen in days.
Who we are
The Glutathione is run by Beauty Mart, which is based in Bhatkal, Karnataka. Beauty Mart is also the India owner of the Glutanex skincare brand.
We’d rather you hear that from us up front. Whenever we mention a Glutanex product, we’ll tell you it’s our own brand. And our educational articles are written to be useful to you whether or not you ever buy anything from us.
Meet the founder
Sam S
Founder, Beauty Mart, Bhatkal · Glutanex India
“I started The Glutathione so that readers in India could get research-based information about glutathione that tells it straight: what works, what doesn’t, and how to use it safely. Every article cites published studies or Indian regulators like CDSCO. And you won’t ever see a ‘fair in 7 days’ claim from us.”
How we write and check our articles
- Every article starts from published research and official guidance, and we link to the source where it matters.
- When the evidence is strong, we say so. When it’s early or missing, we say that too.
- When new research or new regulations come out, we go back to our articles and update them.
- Our articles are not yet reviewed by a dermatologist. We’re working towards having a qualified dermatologist review them, and we’ll name them on this page once that’s in place.
Spotted a mistake? Let us know and we’ll fix it.
Please keep in mind
Everything on this site is general information, and it is not medical advice. Before you start any new supplement or treatment, talk to a doctor or dermatologist. This matters most if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have a medical condition.
